Position Summary

As a Business Development Manager at Range Protocol, you will play a pivotal role in driving growth and fostering relationships in the dynamic and innovative world of decentralized finance (DeFi) asset management. You will be responsible for developing and executing strategies, managing partnerships, acquiring and retaining clients, and facilitating cross-functional collaboration within the organization.

 

Job Responsibilities

Strategy Development:

  • Research, analyze, and identify market trends, opportunities, and threats within the DeFi asset management sector.
  • Develop and implement innovative business development strategies to drive company growth.
  • Work closely with the executive team to define and refine the company's business development goals and objectives.

Partnership Management:

  • Identify and establish strategic partnerships with DeFi protocols, blockchain projects, and other relevant entities.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with key partners, ensuring mutual growth and value creation.
  • Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to structure and negotiate partnership agreements.

Client Acquisition and Retention:

  • Build a robust sales pipeline by prospecting, networking, and leveraging industry relationships.
  • Provide tailored investment solutions to clients, ensuring alignment with their financial goals and risk tolerance.
  • Implement client retention strategies, including regular communication and account reviews.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with the investment, operations, and technology teams to ensure seamless execution of business development strategies.
  • Act as a bridge between different departments to coordinate efforts, drive product development, and enhance the overall client experience.
  • Provide market insights to the product team to guide the development of new financial products and services.

 

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, or a related field. MBA or CFA is a plus.
  • Proven experience in business development within the cryptocurrency, blockchain, or DeFi industry.
  • Strong knowledge of DeFi protocols, blockchain technology, and the broader digital asset landscape.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Results-driven, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales and business development targets.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team, with a strong sense of self-motivation.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving industry.
